I would have liked to meet Craig myself. I was so busy eating and having martinis, that I even forgot to vote! A truly fun show. And who would have thought that the goofy blue-speckled Espada was actually a preview of the color of the Miura Roadster? What was confusing me on Friday made perfect sense to me Sunday morning.
Alas, I was camera-less this weekend. And anyways, pictures I've seen of the car do not convey the full impact of the color - it really needs to be seen to be believed. It looks quite extraordinary on both cars. I personally would not call it a "flattering" color, but certainly "flamboyant"!
As well say Joe Sackey , chassis 4139 engine 30387 it went consigned on June 2, 1969 to Italcar for Pancaldi. In 1971 it was ' sold at a famous play boy of the epoch in Switzerland. The red one and another in brown.............. the same number of chassis. Only they differ for the numbers of engine.....
