I don't know what it is, but the design of the wheel and perhaps the finish always make me think the car is some sort of photoshop. Or like a toy, or like a concept car with wheels that don't actually spin because the whole car is just one piece fiberglass. Whatever it is, it looks excellent and definitely eye catching. Beautiful car. Enjoy in good health, and I think it is AWESOME that you bring that car to events all across the country and world. It is something that should definitely be seen as opposed to locked away. I, and I am sure many many others, thank you for sharing an exquisite piece of art and history. Justin
Jim, Question. I know you go to these events and have a great time, but do you ever just jump in the P4/5 to run up to the store or for just some personal driving time...thats when I enjoy my cars the most. Thanks, Bobby
Yes. Very much enjoy doing that. I also loved driving her on the Historic Targa Florio. At Pebble this year I drove her around quite a bit, at home all the time. Best
Very cool. And I think when it comes down to the facts, P4/5 obviously is no kit car and was done with just as much (more) care and attention to detail than was the Enzo. It has recieved huge fan fare throughout the world and the car should be noted for its impact on automotive culture. Guilding a lilly is one thing, making a whole new flower to grow is quite another. I think that's what this car stands for. We used to admire the dream one man had when his car was designed - Harley Earl, Scaglietti. So it should only be fitting that you, Jim, be honored in this way for your dream, your forward thinking. Just start another project also. _J
No he was let go a while ago. Here's a video of of the new Head of Design Lowey, Jason, Paolo and Roland talking about PF's latest project the RR Hyerion which also mentions P 4/5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rbrPm_X6Yk&fmt=18
