Vignale Ferrari 330 GT Shooting Brake

Built for the Chinetti family in 1968.
Alfredo Vignale, who had already done about 140 Ferrari bodies, relized this very special 330 GT 2+2 Shooting Brake based on the design made by Chinetti Jr.
It was to be Alfredo Vignale's last work: a few days after selling his factory in 1969 he died in a car crash.

I believe none of those made it into a sale...

I like them by the way.

    For the second time... unfortunately.
They were offered by Coys earlier this year, May 10th.

I have only seen the Daytona based one which had good workmanship.
I think it's more of a plausible design that the 330-based one which has "dated" as far as the details (horizontal repeated lines).
So both shooting brakes were offered at the same auction, neither sold and the 330-based one was sold separately? What was the pricetag? But present day prices aside, I wonder if it kicked around for years at a lower price, not counting when it started to go to major auctions, where there can be a certain amount of hysteria pumping prices higher.
