Bianco Avus. I had Bianco Fuji on a Maserati and it is a real pain to get chips fixed. I intend to use my Scuderia and chips will be inevitable. Bianco Fuji is out for that reason
Hi Paul. Many thanks. Long time haven't crossed posts with you since 599 threads. I think you will be very happy with white. What interior did you go for?
HI DM, congrats on your new car... seems like you are in HK too. White is beautiful... and honestly the standard stripe is nicer. Very clean and sharp look. Congrats again! Vincent.
I never thought of that... These are pictures of my 599's with 2 layers of 3M, chicken wire on the grill to protect against large rocks puncturing my radiator. At certain speeds slightly above the legally posted limit 3M is is of zero use... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Happy to hear from you my friend. We had a typhoon 9 on Friday and that will delay me getting my car by one day. Will now get at 5pm on Tuesday. Went and visited the car on Saturday and it is fantastic. The standard fabric interior in all black is even better than I was hoping for. Will post photos next week
Weather today is definately perfect for picking up a new car; i know so by looking out the window at work Enjoy your ride mate!
Beautiful car. Truly stunning. Congrats!! Enjoy it to the max. Best regards from an Italian Ferari nut
You bet! 1,000km check within 5 days I suspect - weather permitting. I don't mind getting the car wet but I have other cars that I like better in the heavy rain. Dinner in Central, then a small 200km journey home via the airport, Dai Mo San (fantastically beautiful tonight with clear sky and stars), a few other twisty roads in NT. What a car. The Schumacher button is fantastic. Race mode shifts with compliant suspension and no body roll. Power on the uphill side of Dai Mo San is as expected. Traction control is everything I hoped for and more. You really can flat at apex. My tyres had all of 80kms on then at the time and were still slippery so I was getting some shake at the back but the front was planted. The noise is epic when the valve is open. I am really happy that I sprung for the stereo/iPod. Under easy cruising cabin noise is not an issue and music is important to me. I only want to hear the engine when I am pushing and that is infrequently in a road car. I removed the rear plate frame so that I could fit a smaller licence plate. It looks so much better set between the exhausts. Will post a picture soon.
Only had my BlackBerry phone for taking the photos so they are not all that great. The Bold has a better camera than the earlier models at least. You can see what I meant before about a shorter rear plate which is possible because I took the frame off. Hong Kong gets UK spec cars and the plate frame is bigger than necessary. I had a full size plate on and did not like it. My friends have already started with the wannabe Columbian drug lord jokes over the dark windows on a white car. I think it looks great Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
brother! What r u talking about great? It freakin PERFECT! Drive it in good health. Congratulations bro!
Fantastic DM! The plates look great Would the cops challenge the size of them? I have never seen plates that small...
Thanks my friend. Letters and numbers are legal size - just missing some plastic That will be my position. Go to Mong Kok - small plates on Jap cars are de riguer. Have a look at the back plate on my Evolution at Country Club - you will laugh your a_s off
