    Hey guys!!

I was wondering if there is some kind of 355 pricing guide? I know a car is worth whatever the buyer is willing to buy it for but I was wondering, GENERALLY, what maybe a rule of thomb or a pricing guide per options (color ext/int, shields, 6spd/f1,gts,gtb,..etc).

    thanks

Best color cambo; Red, Tan, with 30k service, Spider, authorized dealer serviced only, excellent interior and paint
    1995-1999 $65000 + - for Spiders over 45000 miles
    $75000 + - for Spiders over 25000 miles under 45000 miles.
Add $5000 + - for Spiders that have under 25000 miles
Add $7500 for cars under 10000 miles.
Add $2500 for spiders 1998-1999 with F1 trans
Deduct $2500 for GTS, Deduct $5000 for GTB
Deduct $2000 for cars Color Yellow or Black or Blue
Deduct $5000 for cars Silver, Green or white
    Deduct $10000 - $20000 for salvage cars
So a perfect F355 would be a 1999 Spider Red, Tan 10000 miles or less with all the above recommendations at $85000 + -
Not so perfect would be a 1995 GTB over 45000 miles without all the above recommendations but not salvage at $55000 + -
A rebuilt salvage F355 with Low miles and all the above recommendations would be $55000 + -
A rebuilt salvage F355 high mileage without all the recommendations above would be $35000 + -

This would be my price guide for you.

Ultimately, it still depends on personal taste. I for one, prefer the Berlinetta for its nicer profile and also in my part of the continent, sun is somewhat scarce. I enjoy "driving" my car as often as possible. Also, the power top can be expensive to maintain from what I hear.
Whatever model, you are the only one that counts in the end. Just make sure you do a PPI.

YOU ARE A LONG TIME DEAD, SO EMBRACE LIFE DEARLY AND DRIVE A FERRARI!!

This is pretty darn good but I would add the following:

Deduct $7500 if belt service not done within 3 years. (I subscribe to the 5 year rule but I think it will be a ding if it's in the 3-5 year range)
    Add $4000 for Tubi
    Add $1000 for Hyperflows
    Add $1000 for factory badges
    Deduct $5000 for no documentation

Not bad but.....Tubi and hyperflows will not add that much, maybe half of retail if the buyer likes that, deduct if they want it stock. I believe factory badges were only on the '99 Fiorano models.

I can't speak to earlier models but I know that factory badges were available on 98 models

    That would put my 95 red/tan spider w/ 18k miles at 70k

Whats the add for hyperflows, X-OST muff and a 360 CS wheel?

    Hmmmmm..........not bad!

I didn't add anything for Tubi, X-ost, Fabspeed, wheels, challange grill, audio systems and other add-ons or upgrades. I have yet to see cars selling for more with these add-ons or upgrades. A couple months ago I saw an F355 red tan tween turbo and much more , the guy must have spend more then $45000 on upgrades on his car, for $68000 asking price. I think it was a 1997.

Okay, I'll hold mine for you until then if you like! The day I sell it, I would like it to go to a friend. I'm thinking my next vehicle should be a T-rex. After I finish the pimpage of the Scion.

I knew I'll get your attention 285ferrari. If you look at my pricing formula and do your own research you will see that I'm right. I wish I came up with better numbers. I really like your Yellow F355 and all the upgrades you did to your car. But when it comes to selling or buying a Ferrari, the red color usually wins. I had a 1990 black 348tb prior to my F355 red spider, I had the hardest time selling it because the color.

Regarding your yellow F355, a Lamborghini salesman at Prestige Imports Miami said this to me; "Red is to Ferrari as Yellow is to Lamborghini", when I test drove a Gallardo this year”

I can agree with some of it, but deduction for a GTS or GTB I can't see. As rare as those cars are getting it seems the pricing on average are staying very close to the Spiders if not a tad over for very nice cars. I can find you 3 Spiders for every GTS or GTB. Fortunately every day that goes by the economy gets a tidbit better and good cars get harder to find..That is good news for guys who have no story cars and really take care of them....Luckily I am not in the market for one! :D

Yes, it is a great little car. I put Tanabe lowering performance springs on it yesterday. First time I have ever done that type of work. I've picked out some wheels / tires at edge racing that should come in about a week from now. Then a nice metallic silver stripe off center, a few amps, and I'll be good to go!

Your in the ball park, but consider this. How many rossa with tan interiors are on the road. I like the combo too but not many black on black which was my preference.

Each of us like a color combo and will pay for it especially if it is more rare but still looks hot.

I agree with Robbie on the spider versus GTB and GTS. Many more spider's on the road- so rareity comes into the equation

Man based on those figures I must have gotten the deal of a lifetime. 1995 Red on Tan Spider with 36K miles, Tubi exhaust, new manifolds, factory shields (or embedded), 30K service done, $28,000 in records from an authorized dealer, belts changed two years ago, excellent paint, excellent interior, no stories car absolutely runs and drives beautifully. I got all this for $57,500!

You got the deal of the century.

3 - 5 years from now you will see your car starting to appreciate in value. Keep the car in nice shape and don't forget to do regular maintanance which basically is change oil once a year and check hydraulic top fluid levels every 6 months
