Hmmm.... Looks like a Californa BAR label on that car. Right where mine would be if I didn't remove the airbox with the BAR label on it. I use a spare for the car. If something bad happens, you don't want to loose the BAR label. Steve
I wouldn't say "as new". It's missing all the cute paint that is around an engine compartment before the miles pile on. But, it sure is clean. The 300KM car that was at Motorcars Int'l, for example, had all the paint markings and the original Blue color, smooth top, UFI oil filter. That was an "as new" car. Steve
the re s no price for Art....At Drouot Montaigne on 2008 March 15, the auction house EVE presents a Monet at 400 K (SOLD 510 K before fees).

I was thinking about a thread from several years ago (almost 5 years as it turns out) where a guy was asking $750k for a 288 GTO when they were going for around $315k. Apparently it was a real time capsule (1400 miles, original oil). I found this thread in the archives: http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/251280/321070.html Anyone know the car or what became of it?
It ended up with a high-tech guy in the Bay Area, the seats were changed, the car was driven a bit and then, eventually, resold. Steve
