    Its strange but yesterday it seems like all flights on the east coast were super delayed or stopped dead. They blamed it on a computer link at the traffic control center in Atlanta. I have a feeling that it is all a cover up. Maybe something to do with the Democratic convention. What are your feelings.

    It has happened before, causing delays all over the place. I wouldn't doubt it to be some glitch, or some new guy accidentally powering off the wrong server. It happens. Outages effect many people. I've experienced this many times: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/895706/

    Well I fly in the US a lot and listen to channel 9 on UAL all the time. Every east coast bound plane gets handed off to them.......don't see any conspiracy here.

    I don't have time to look up the details but the FAA computer system (most of the ATC system really) is woefully outdated. But like any good conspiracy what you propose would be difficult to prove false and makes just enough sense to the paranoid that it catches hold.

    Its tuff digging a fall out shelter in Florida, the water table is too high! it keeps filling in and becomes a pool.

    i work for Gulfstream and none of our pilots or customers said anything about issues up and down the whole east coast yesterday.

    i dont follow what happens in the commercial airline world though.
