Slightly off-topic but I wish to congratulate Maxorido for winning our bet as well as GSjohnson for our side bet on Alonso and Massa.

I am sure they will be mad at me for publicizing this but Maxorido has informed me that he is using a portion of his winnings to support a local food charity and GS Johnson has asked me to donate his winnings to a charity of my choice.

It is not about the money with me nor is it about the money with these two gentlemen. I wish to recognize their generosity as well as congratulate them for winning our bets.

Good to hear it turned out well between you guys!

Think you can get one of them to donate some of their winnings so u can re-subscribe and get your avatar back? It's a lot harder to spot all the "Massa won't win four races" posts without it :) :) :)

Absolutely. It's good to see a disagreement resolved in an intelligent, gentlemanly way - must be three old-school guys. ;)

Being serious, no one should ever doubt Ted's integrety. There was no question in my mind that if he made a wager, he would live up to it.

I have disagreed with Ted on several occasions without it becoming personal. He presents logical factual rebutals to support his opinions. I try and present my point in that same fashion. It's okay to agree to disagree. I respect Ted's opinion as a result. Our bet was a result of a disagreement of an opinion. Very simple and respectful. Hardly personal. When opinions are spouted emotionally rather than factually, people lose patience with the difference of opinion. Like has been stated, it's not the money, it's the sporting nature of the bet.

    Ted is "the real deal".

You can disagree with him all you want - but he's usually right and if not, he's got a strong foundation for his arguments. He's also a man of his word and even when I disagree with him, I've come to appreciate that.

There really is no right or wrong when we engage in the umpteenth "this driver is better than that driver" arguments;they are all opinions but still worthy of being aired on this great forum called Ferrarichat...again kudos to the three gentlemen involved!
