Gentleman, we launched a new product with our company and I need your feedback. This product is NOT live and you CANNOT purchase it yet. I need feedback on ease of use, explantation of product, user interface, etc. ANY feedback would be much appreciated. It is catered to small business some of which who are not too tech savvy.

Looking for all negative comments as well as positive!!

Thanks guys, means a lot to me.

Dude, I was in the coupon printing business for years. You need to patent this thing ASAP (if it's not already patented) and get in front of News America Marketing and Valassis and Val Pak and see if they'll buy it from you.

Couple questions--got the text. How is the delivery to the cashier? Will it be delivered with a scannable barcode so the cashier can redeem it?

Also, how will you isolate the coupons so they are not illegally reproduced and redeemed, like if you forwarded the text to somebody else for use?

Questions you need to answer so you can market it to the big boys.

I like the layout of the site and the video- on that end, everything works.

Just curious how you guys get the numbers though. It's easy to send out bulk messages, but I'd be wary of giving out my number to anyone; you might want an end-user site to explain and/or allow them to add their number to the list (and checking off individual businesses they are interested in). If you can get that off the ground it would be a great sales tool to say "we've already got 1500 people in your area who want to have updates about your special offers". If you have that they don't need to understand the tech behind it.

Also, I'd see if you can sell the idea to chain restaurants to use in place of those annoying beepers. I'd love to go for a walk on the beach and just get a text message when the table is ready- plus it would allow the restaurant to track who comes in and when, something which would be huge for them.

Sorry for the brain dump but I love this sort of stuff..

The service is a opt-in only form the user. Say you love to get Pink Dot. When you walk into the store you will see a sign that says, "get Qpons delivered to your phone for free" A user will opt-in and get an offer from the store for as long as he wants. He can turn it off and on as he pleases. All he has to do is text "stop". This isnt one of those fly by night operations, you cant stop it at any point.

This is a great touch point for companies to reward their best customers. They can offer special deals for online shopping, like codes; they can give updates on new products coming out; special events at stores; or try the online business model for a brick and mortar company.

The price is set at a very low price to for the companies. The best part I think is that it will be searchable. You can search for Qpons to other stores once you get use to it. For example, we did some test coupons for the project show in Vegas I was at. Wanted to target fashion first.

If you text 63278 with the word qpon ferrari you will see what ferrari clothing line was getting pitched ;) I think you guys will get a kick out of it.

What do you guys think otherwise about the user-interface?

I was a bit confused with the website. It isn't that clear that the links at the upper right are actually links, doesn't look like a menu at all (same to the "try it out" sub menu). Then the text is too large. I think it might look better if it was smaller, which would also prevent users with low resolution from having to scroll down (maybe I'm exaggerating my criticism a bit, but I guess that's what helps you more). May I ask what font you're using for the logo and the menus?

No thats what I am looking for. The font is Gothic 2, not sure about the logo but will ask my designers for and PM it

Thanks! Having a closer look at the site, it's especially the semi-large text that just knocks you down ("Qpons are a great new way"), and on the "What do you think" page, the i's look like l's.

The idea was to have multiple ways to navigate through the site. You will notice you have 4 different ways but you really only have to figure one out to get going.

I do notice what your talking about the font. Maybe a different color to offset and contrast would help. Ill do some comps.

What about understanding the technology? Is that clear enough?
Again this is only a DEMO and made to gauge the receptiveness

You guys rock, thanks for the input and please keep them coming, dont spare my feelings at ALL!!

THIS idea I like. Antony: Is THIS your company trademark? http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=pd6n9j.2.1 or this one http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=n44jr6.2.2 If not, you may be screwed. First off, you need money.......and a LOT of it to get this off the ground. I'd be in the hunt for a few million. Also, dump the Lamour-Grade digital camera video. Get it done right by a professional company, as the web site is something that may be looked at by Sr. level managers, VP's, etc. at companies you want to land. Get it better looking than something one would throw up on YouTube. As far as getting the point of what the product does (on the website), I would state in one brief sentence what the product does. You need to capture the attention of the viewer in 15 seconds. Right now, the website does not do that. Good luck with this one!

Pete, the link didn't work. I am the Marketing Director for the company. The video was done by professionals and is still getting edited. We will upload the real video when it is completed. Also it wont be hosted on youtube by then :p

The idea is for the companies to decide what works best for them. We dont tell them what to push to customers. They decide and if they do spam, they lose them, if they incentivize it well enough, they get more business.

Chris, I like the idea, they can tell you when the table is ready and opt you in for special events and offers in the future if you want.

    LOL! :D

Love the idea Antony. I just hope other companies won't start the same thing and send SPAM text messages.

Thats what the rest of the companies out there are doing. We follow the best practices and dont store numbers. The owners of the stores dont even get the numbers, just reports. The carriers do an audit and then we do and audit, client sees the results.

So day one and the press pick up was low. It takes a few days for this to get traction but I am a little annoyed.

I got great responses form small business owners, media is whole another game.
