Thanks. At least in HK white is not that "different" anymore. White has increased in popularity to the point that it is challenging black and well ahead of yellow

Stunning DM. Have you had a chance to "ring" her out??

What are your impressions as compared to your other Ferraris or other past cars owned?

Not really. A few corners where I tried out the traction control - that is about it. Until I get at least 1,000kms on the clock I will go pretty easy. May not be necessary but I feel better.

Drove my 288 GTO for an early morning blast and then the Scuderia to my office. Pretty much back to back. 288 GTO is still quite some car. In terms of sheer pleasure it wins hands down over the Scuderia. Not a fair comparison but these are the 2 cars that I drove today.

Scuderia is completely superior to my 997 GT3RS in every way. It is worth double the price in my books. Makes me very happy that I sold the RS pretty quickly. To my taste, the Scuderia is much much more enjoyable than the 599. If I lived somewhere else maybe I would appreciate the 599 more but it is simply too big for Hong Kong.

BTW I have just cancelled my order on the California in favour of the Scuderia Spider. I should have my Scuderia Spider in about 10 months

Saw your beautiful car at IMSS this morning. Dropped my 288 GTO and parked it beside your car

Very interesting! I had not heard of the Scuderia Spider yet.

DM, heartfelt congrats on a great car. Nice to read that the 288 is still able to provide the thrills as well.

I've heard the same as well.

    Scuderia Spider.

Hmmm, sounds to me like an oxymoron. Let's see, we'll take out 200lbs of the regular car to make a lightweight racing version only to add it back again as a Spider!

What's the point besides blatant profiteering?

    It'll be the ultimate dooshbagmobile.

    I hope I'm wrong.

    :(

    Cheers mate :)

Theres some problem with the A/C, it goes on and off; apparently its some wiring problem :(

Can't wait to get it back.

How many miles have you logged onto the scud?
And a scud spider in 10 months?!? We have 3 years to go for the California -_-

    I had hoped for Integrity?

    History?

At this rate, how long until Ferrari turns into Porsche?

I think you are absolutely wrong. It is a Scuderia not a Challenge. Hardly a race car. I had a 430 Challenge. Any road car (Scuderia, GT3 RS...) is only fun on the track but not fast. I have other weapons for that purpose.

Scuderia Spider should be compared with a 430 Spider just as a Scuderia should be compared with a 430 Berlinetta. If the gap between the Scuderia Spider and the 430 Spider is as big as between the Scuderia and the 430 Berlinetta, I will be 100% happy.

Have you ever owned a really fast hard core Spider? I have and it was fantastic. Blasting through tunnels listening to mayhem behind you...

Your California will come faster with me off the list - I was top 5. Only 300kms on the Scud - been busy with my son. Hope your MC sorted soon - really deadly beautiful car

Hope to hear more from you on your scud, planning any china trips? ;)

With you off the list, that would make us go from 170 to 169 I think? Obviously we are the VVUP - very very unimportant people. lol

Not VVUP - you just have to play the deposit game better and faster. BTW IMSS increasing deposit from HKD250k to HKD300.

No China trips at present planned for Scud. Maybe for the Evolution.

Had the Scud in Dai Mo San in the wet - electronics are really superb. Rain setting is fantastic. There was a stream going across the corner at apex and I had a little moment that not even the electronics could save me from - luckily no other cars!!! Am also grateful for ground clearance as there were some rocks washed onto the road which I cleared in the middle but scared the sh_t out of me - no chance to avoid - had to hope for the best!

    DM18,

You need to log more KMs on your Scud!!! All that time owning the car and only 300kms?!?! Lol :)

Anyway, I can't stop looking at your car. Makes me regret not going for Bianco Avus :(

By the way, are you serious about the Scud. Spider?

Mr Cheung did inform my father and I about the deposit increase while we were there to sign the papers :)

Dai Mo Shan + wet does not sound easy at all! Embarrassingly, I have never driven there as I do not have a Kowloon ID card! :D
I heard it gets rather ghetto there at night, surprised that you have the bravery to bring your Fcar there. Are you going to 3M the car?

Obvious. What is the basis of your opinion? You chose to ignore my question - have you ever owned a hard core spider? Scuderia is NOT a racing version - it is a road car. Your profile tells us nothing about your experience. That might help us to better understand your opinions

You have to do Dai Mo Shan. No problem at night. I parked the Scud at the observation area with the bikers and the jap car guys. I was with my wife and she was not concerned at all with the others out - they are cool. On the road it is fun to chase or be chased. These guys are crazy brave given the equipment that they have and the apparent lack of formal track training (gassing before apex, minimal trail braking, lousy heel and toe...). If someone looks reckless it is easy - slow down and let them pass.

Dai Mo Shan in the wet is one of the few places in HK to play with the mannetino and see results. The wet setting is really fantastic
