thanks for re-posting jim... the Hyperion is beautiful as well, much more so in person than in photographs.
Hi Napolis, It was a pleasure meeting you at Quail, albeit briefly. I guess it was good timing for me as you got into your car and left... it let me hear that glorious sound from the P4/5. Thanks for being approachable and nice! I am sure I can speak for most people on here when I say that its much appreciated. Cheers!
I enjoy pictures of the P4/5 at shows....but the photos taken on the streets are amazing! I've always got camera on me...one of these days I hope to get my own "action" photo of the P4/5!
If anyone was wondering how many BMW Z8's you could buy for the cost of the P 4/5 - it's about this many... http://bmwz8.us/vbb/attachment.php?attachmentid=2341&stc=1&d=1218808877 (Mine's in the back row)
One of these days the Enzo series will be replaced by a new Ferrari Supercar. The last time it was with some luck that you found a brand new Enzo to use as the basis for your concept of a Ferrari. Have you given any thought to building something newer based on the 'replacement' Enzo? Start early this time. Sort of getting in on the ground floor with the new platform (tub?) so a complete car doesn't have to be dismantled this time. Still, with the cost of spare parts a completed car may be a cheaper platform for your vision of the future... CH
It's a custom color, a mixture of 1967 Rossa Corsa and 1930's SF Alfa red. It's a special paint developed to make Carbon Fiber look like Aluminium.
Yes a big difference. I have the original 1967 paint codes and have in fact matched it to original 1967 paint as found on 0854. We cut that paint and polished away the surface which had faded and scanned it. It matched the formula we had. 0846 is currently painted with it as will be 0854. My 8C is painted with "P 4/5 Red" as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
If only that was a real (ie. old) 8c, LOL ... pleased to see on the AlfaBB that you are looking though ... . Best Pete
Jim, any chance for a picture of the following two Ferraris: 1967 Ferrari P3/4 (chassis 0846) 1967 Ferrari 412 P (chassis 0854) Thanks
Together? (0846 Spyder/0854 Coupe?) No. Here's one before final restoration of both with J6. US 8C's are still not delivered. Mine will be first. Image Unavailable, Please Login
