    You can see from the picture that the truck is on an elevated stretch of highway. I watched the fire truck go by the opposite direction, also an elevated road. The problem was, the next exit is about a mile and a half the wrong direction. No way to stretch the hose over the median either, the opposing stretches of road are separated by about 10 feet with a 50 foot drop in the middle.

    That truck is toast.

    My buddy had a used F150 which suffered and engine fire hauling a trailer through the Cascades a few months ago due to a recall which wasn't performed when purchased at a dealership. All repairs were on Ford's dime.

    We must have been passing through around the same time as I saw smoke ahead and the fire truck going the opposite direction. As I exited onto Las Colinas Blvd the entire cab was completely engulfed with fire coming out the back window. The pic looks just as I recall. Yikes!
