Hi Jim, Talking about the 8c, I'm not sure if this link has already been posted... But what the heck, it's just amazing: Video test of the 8c by the Dutch magazine autoblog.nl: Turn the volume to the max ;-) http://www.abhd.nl/video/alfa-romeo-8c-competizione/ Also a beautiful video of the 8c and the 8c Spider: http://www.autojunk.nl/clips/view/137737?relevant
"Guess it wasn't so stupid after all..." (straightens tie and stands a little taller) One more question (puzzled look on face and scratching head like monkey) When you say its a special paint developed to make Carbon Fiber look Aluminum, does that mean that the paints purpose was to hide the A.) carbon weave and B.) have a little bit more of the metalic like surface of the body panel show through as if the Carbon Fiber panels beneath the paint were aluminum instead of the dark Carbon Fiber weave??? I am doing my best here by trying to think logically, however, I tend to over think things sometimes As always, thank you for taking the time to answer my question and for being so knowledgeable with your car. I am glad a guy like you had this piece of rolling art commissioned as opposed to a really rich guy who just wanted something nobody else would ever have and being a snob about it.
Man, the audio on that film is just fantastic. Love the 8C's tuning to backpressure burble, off-throttle. Just sounds brilliant.
Sounds like a vintage race car doesn't it??? The Maserati granturismo S sounds and (almost) go exactly alike as they share the same engine and transaxle... But the car is not in limited edition

Honestly Jim, I like the grey a lot. But not so much on the red splashes, and body coloured wing mirrors. I was also wondering if the wheels are painted silver instead of dark grey. Granted, the combination might sound a bit too sedated to some, but in my opinion, it will only make the P 4/5 look humbler and more modern.
Jim, please (in the Name of 1000000 Model Collectors) make a Deal whit a Company for a P4/5 Model Car in scale 1:43 and 1:18 Collectors all over the World like your Car, you know it ;-) Best regards, from Stuttgart, Germany Fred
In many ways, it must be a PITA to own that car. Everyone using unauthorized images, or making copies for there own personal profit etc... The amount of legal work to protect your car has got to get old after a while! I admire your resilience Justin
