Where did you get the picture? It looks like the wall behind it has some info. But it's definitely sweet-looking. If we're lucky it will become the new Daytona Prototype
1 off Group C Alfa Romeo developed after the demise of the 164 Procar in the early 1990's. Other photos and discussions of this car can be found here: http://forums.autosport.com/showthread.php?threadid=84774 and http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/alfa-romeo-history/20001-alfa-romeo-v10-group-c-sportscar.html Debate over what was to have powered this car V10 or v12. Car is in the Alfa Romeo museum.
Look or sound like!!!! This Group C Alfa had an F1 style motor. Have you ever heard that Alfa Procar video?
That reminds me... in the late '80s Alfa had spent a lot of money in the design of a racing V10 engine for the never-ran Procar series. How about reviving this fantastic engine, "domesticate" it for road use and install it in future Alfa and Maserati sportscars, GTs and 4-door super-sedans? Can you imagine... an Alfa V10 sedan based on the Maserati QP platform... it would be an Audi RS6 killer. And Maserati could use a higher tuned version of the V10 for a 600HP "Granturismo SS" to kill the Merc AMG 65 models... Dreaming on...
