Didn't find this via searches but if it's a repost, well, it'll be okay. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbeMvxSbuuM
oh man that's awesome, thanks for posting! the only disappointing thing is that Ari didn't dust that SOB! but somehow i smell a payback!
lol .. Interesting... Seen this race before.. watch this one.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw7wEu7RhzI
Funny.. they are identical right down to the end. Is this Hollywood's lack of Creativity or an inside joke poking fun at the movie ? One thing if for sure, the idea came from the movie. Cool stuff!
im sure its an inside joke. entourage pays homage to so many different people, things, whatevers of hollywood its hard to imagine it being a "lack of creativity"
I concur. However, wouldn't be surprised if one of the principals/directors had a preference for Porsches or something against Fs in the Entourage trailer!
It seems that Lamborghini has had a good year for PR....Batman drives one in the 2nd biggest blockbuster of all time, there is a very popular hip hop / rap song that mentions a "Lamborghini Gallardo" about half a dozen times in it, the recent trailers for the new 90210 show that were airing all the time show a kid pulling up in a yellow Gallardo Spyder (although in the actual show, you see a 430 in the background as well), Stephen Colbert shows a yellow Gallardo during his comical "Platinum Club" segments spoofing uber-rich people, there was a popular news' story (also picked up by Colbert) about the Saudi Sheik who flew his Murcielago to the UK for an oil change, plus a bunch of other references to the Lambo brand that I can't recall off the top of my head. Ferrari has not really got the air time lately that Lambo has been enjoying. This reminds me of the Countach days when Lambo was winning the "bedroom wall poster" battle and Ferrari brought out the Testarossa to compete. What has happened to the days of Miami Vice and Magnum PI? Even the most recent Miami Vice movie had very little Ferrari time in it. Lambo's PR is obviously working for them....I wonder how Ferrari will compete? More scenes like this one from Entourage? (But they need to win the races!)
That scene was stolen from the movie Aginst all odds. love Entourage, but it's missing one thing Carey Loftin. Who is Carey Loftin? He's the guy who drove the Mustang in "Bullitt " and the truck in "Duel" here he is in aginst all odds. He owned 5 Bizzarrini's as his dailey drivers in LA and was one of the best stunt drivers in Hollywood. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fv4pyXLnhOU
Why was this not in the series premier? Since this is a trailer, does that mean I can expect to see it sometime during the season?
Saw this episode last weekend. Copying the "Against all Odds" car chase must be an inside joke. When I saw that I remembered that James Woods actually played himself in an early episode of Entourage.
Little upset about the "mishap" with the 430, her really should have dusted the P car, but weaving in and out of traffic it reall was a drivers race and I guess Ari was just a little more concerned about his well being, oh well he got him in the end! I really hope this is not the end of the Ferrari on Entourage, I love that show and if they pull a little F car out every now and then I will be a very happy viewer.
Even better than the race is the scene about 10 minutes later where Ari '***** slaps' the 911 driver. Brilliant.
Scroll down a bit on utube and you'll see another version of the Chase, Entourage spoofs alot of stuff so I'm assuming they did that since its a dead on impersonation all the way to the middle finger at the end
