Am I missing something or has the website for the Ferrari Museum of Art been pulled down? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

If I am not mistaken, Mr. Matsuda has closed down his Ferrari Museum and selling off his collections (most of them). Jimmy

Sorry to hear this...Never thought it gonna happen one day. Apparently, I have been there at the museum for couple times. There were the fantastic collections of Ferraris: vintage to modern, road to race cars. Simply awesome!

Hope he will be happy with his decision whatever it is! G/L

Thanks for the information. I frequently visited his website to look for changes in the collection.

That's too bad, but ultimately his decision. I image he's getting up there in age as well. I was his neighbor in the late 80's when he had a larger collection. We all had assigned underground parking (this being Tokyo) and it was always a suprise to see what would show up in his parking spots.

Wow.. I didn't expect that either.
It is an incredible collection and a really interesting set up.

Is there any more information on his closing it down?

    Thats very sad to hear.

I met him personally at the museum back in 95, he was a very soft spoken and down to earth gentlemen. Back then I was only a kid and he gave me a bunch of posters of the 348 Challenge Series that he participated in.

Sad to hear this, i did not have a chance to visit his museum the last time when I was at Gotemba due to tight schedule. There was an annual meeting at this museum every year, accomodating large number of Exotic Ferraris. In any aspect, I respect Mr. Matsuda's decision and wish all his cars go to the right owner.
