    What ever happened to the Daytona Targa Top from the Swiss Conspiracy??? Was it a 1 off car?

    They used two genuine Daytona Spiders. The red one is #14365 (the first production Daytona Spider), the silver one #15911. Today both cars belong to European collectors. Both cars had hardtops manufactured by a small firm in Northern Italy. Unfortunately these hardtops are long gone now. When the movie was made in 1975 the red one (14365) belonged to a Swiss, the silver one (15911) to an Italian owner.

    Is the silver one the same as owned by Luke Fratello in Los Angeles for a long time? Luke loved that car and regularly participated with it in FOC events around Southern California.

    No, Luke Fratello's is not the same car. The car in the movie, 15911, has had only two owners so far and still lives in Europe (Italy).

    What is the brown leather looking thing sticking up next to the driver in the bottom right hand corner of the photo. I thought at first it was the handbrake but the angle is completely wrong.
