What sizes are you wheels...the Mondial owners are turning out here strong...i know there are plenty of F-car owners who wish to upgrade their wheels...here we can see how the cars could look...

you Mondi guys have me thinking twice about buying a Mondial

Micheal - always great to see your car - it's been too long.

Mondial owners are a pretty good group.

Actually 16 inch rims were an option in '84 I believe. The 390mm TRX wheels were standard starting in 1981.... and yes... they were magnesium back then.

    Chris,
Did those 550 wheels require spacers or anything or are they a direct swap?
Also, I love the painted targa top look; did you do it yourself?

The fronts needed 20mm spacers and the rear ones needed 1" removed to fit. (check out the picture)

Thanks. I had a autobody guy paint it. He did a great job on it.

My car is a 308 GTB, yes the easy way is to narrow the wheel. It will take some extra work to accomplish is without a narrow wheel , I'm in the process now to make this happen. Narrow body shock with a spring diameter and spring rate made to what I need, not an on shelf item.

Anybody know off hand what the corner weights are on a 77 GTB?

Michael, how did your T do at the track day?

What tires did you run? Anything else modified.

How do you think those Compomotive wheels would look on my 308GTB? I like the look - similar to the 288GTO - and wonder about the advantages and drawbacks of making this change. Also, I understand that Compomotive no longer makes these. Anybody know where to get them?

Would it not be advantageous to buy four front wheels, and run matching widths front and rear?
