Hi Tom, I have observed your car several times in the past and always have come up empty handed on being able to take a photo. I spotted you yesterday by the 'Cheesecake factory' (I was in the opposite direction) and I was hoping you were going to stay on Peachtree. My route was a long one past the Atlanta Fish Market but I was able to make all the traffic signals up to Piedmont then back to Peachtree (having 530 bhp under my foot helped). "No speeding laws were broken during this photo session"........ I did pick you up while you were stopped at the light on Peachtree and Piedmont. I turned into the strip mall and waited to take the photo at the 'Caribou coffee house'. As much as I enjoy hearing the engines and viewing the cars on the road I will eventualy get a photo of your mint 328 GTS in a still shot. Kind Regards,West

PS: I was driving a black SRT-8 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Hennessey Performance upgrade

You guys forgot to mention the cool thing about that 288. The last time I looked it only had 143 Km. Probably the lowest mile example of a 288 GTO on the planet.

And the dumbest one. These cars are made to be driven not sit in a basement forever and to only come out for select car shows.

I was just visiting a friend in Lawrenceville and we stopped by Ferrari of Atlanta. We were told that because of something that happened with a kid they are no longer allowed to take people down into the basement. I just got to peek inside where I saw the supers all covered up. Does anyone know exactly what happened that would make the owner keep the basement closed off??

They told me that someone had scratched one of the cars and the owner of FOA was not to thrilled about that.

    A few recent shots...

    Friday September 5
    - white Ferrari 550 Maranello at Phipps Plaza's valet.

    Saturday September 6
    - black 1960s Shelby GT350 at Phipps Plaza valet.
    - dark gray Lamborghini Gallardo on Peachtree near Lenox Road.
    - black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage turning into a car wash on Roswell Road between Wieuca and Piedmont/Blackland.

    Sunday September 7
    - tan Bentley Arnage at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.
    - white Bentley Arnage at West Paces and Peachtree.

I actually spoke to the owner of the white 550 as we were driving... the first time an exotic car owner has ever initiated conversation with me! He remarked that a very twisty stretch of road we had just driven in a rather spirited manner was a good one; I concurred. I also mentioned it would've been a little better if I'd had his V12 Ferrari to play with. :D

That vehicle, plate ending in 9509, is NOT Steve Harvey's. This Maybach, which is on Texas plates, is Steve Harvey's.

Jeez, sorrrryyy. I was just going by what I was told in this post when I saw the car last week.

I could really care less who owns the car or what the tag number is.

You'll note that those are different vehicles. Harvey's vehicle is a Maybach 57, not a 57S, with stock wheels (simply chromed). The other vehicle (9509) is a white 57S with aftermarket wheels. You're more than forgiven for the error though - there are a lot of Maybachs running around Buckhead, and none are particularly distinctive!

Yes, I did tell you that last week. There were two Maybach's, both on Texas plates at the Lenox valet and I told you that they were Steve Harvey's. Calm down.

I made my monthly day off dealership run today...
(and yes I know none of these count as spots, but they were pretty cool)

First was this white Murcielago with brand new aftermarket wheels. One of the guys who was picking up the car said it belongs to rapper Akon and that he has quite a few other exotics at his home here in Atlanta.

Next at FoA were this light blue 599 which looked amazing and a Dino GT. This was my first time seeing a Dino and I was really surprised at how small it was.

Also saw another GT-R driving in Alpharetta today, I think that puts the total count up to 6 or 7 now in the last few weeks.

Okay, no edit button so I'm posting back to back again...

Forgot to mention earlier that the yellow Scuderia (fellow F-Chatter Allans car) was at FoA today in the back and there were 2 GT3 RS's at the Porsche dealership in Alpharetta.

First was an Alpina B7 from a few days ago that I forgot about..

Then was a 430 at Lenox

    Then an Elise at Phipps

    Diablo at Chops

430 at the restaurant on west paces right beside peachtree, there was a DB9 there too but I couldn't get a pic of it.

The Morgan was a treat to observe -no dealership here in Atl. Sorry for some of the shots, it was a dark moonless night for taking photos. But our friend ZonderF has the Diablo covered for a day shot.

Hey Horse-power - great spots! That Morgan is not a Roadster but rather a (very much rarer) Morgan Aero 8! Where did you see it?
