i cant wait more i want a company that sell the headers alone ...... i need more horse power ... iam not happy with the power at the moment.... please ppl dont even mention hamann coz its sucks .... i want power not looks they dont have the idea how to tune. my car is stock and its faster than the hamann i already raced the hamann to 200 around 3 cars i beat it ... so for get hamann
Have you tried at least Capristo with no valves. Puts down 34 RWHP which puts you close to enzo power. Might not be full headers but proven on the dyno for HP>
another example but remind you your going to pay around 3k for a set of custom headers that are functional and proven that are going to increase your HP and torque figures, these are hand fabricated by guys that build nascar, GT series motors and stuff Image Unavailable, Please Login
same guys that build for ford gt's hennesy's and ligenfelter, not the exact same guys but the same type and so forth so you will get performance Image Unavailable, Please Login
thanx but iam not in the us i live in united arab emirates thats way far ... only if they have did it for a car before ....?
I have assembled a set for the 612... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204450&highlight=headers The 599 would not be a problem.
sorry but no, i was just implying that headers could be fabricated to your likes. i have a friend that built custom headers for race car and he had stated that he had built custom headers for ferraris and lambo's and other exotics here in the states, he has even had clients fly him to europe to build custom headers. hope this helps....
you could always fly him over if you would really want a custom piece of art on your new 599, would be awesome!!!!!!
Ship your car to a reputable twin turbo tuner and make 1000hp+ on low boost. A set of headers will only solve your fix for a short amount of time.
If I am to install headers on a 599 or any Ferrari which will involve removal of the engine, I would definitely ship the car over to the headers fabricator and installer for a perfect fit and installation.
Wow! That is impressive welding and fabrication. Do you have any more pictures of his work? Those collectors look like the same ones I used on the headers for my LS1 conversion 71 Corvette. His welds are better than mine though. I think I did pretty good considering this is my first set. To the OP I think having headers fabricated will be the easiest option. Whoever built the ones sexybeast posted would be the first person I'd call. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I actually like the sound of the stock system and the power shifts are a plus. Can you elaborate on what exactly you did not like about the original 599 system? I don't mean to question your choices, just trying to understand.
Here are close up photos of actual sets of headers I had made for the V12 612/599. No experimentation. True on the street parts tested & proven down to the exact detail. If interested feel free to contact me. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
If you are not impressed with the power of the 599, may I suggest a Bugatti Veyron rather than simply some new headers?
