was it just my bias, or was hamilton taking some big risks edging people out of his way? he squeezed glock, then webber, and a couple others. he is a fantastic racer no doubt, but am begining to think that he is also a bit cavalier towards the other drivers and their safety. btw, the pre race interviews with other drivers regarding last weeks' controversy and the steward's decision showed not one of them siding with lewis - that surprised me, but maybe they all feel what i was saying above....

Ya I watched the ITV feed of the race and even the incredibily Hamilton biased announcers mentioned he was pushing his luck both on the track and with the stewards.

The Glock deal and especially the Weber banging wheels thing is really poor. He's driving like Kyle Busch! :D

What Hamilton does is not even close to the questionable and brutal moves Schumacher made squeezing his brother or even his team mate against the concrete walls.

And did I hear you guys complain after the first turn at Hungaroring this year? No, I heard a lot of cheering.

Lewis showed some stunning car control today, but that was one of the most dirty drives i have ever seen in F1 ! He was cutting up people, pushing them wide, bumping wheels, it even looked like he touched Alonso when he took him while flat out on the start/finish straight ! I would not be supprised if we see anthor pen for him this week !

Glock was boiling with rage in the post race interview. It really was unneccesary and pretty dangerous...

In sports cars or touring cars, he'd have gotten as good as (or better than) he gave today.

There is justice in racing and he is sowing the seeds for disaster. No wonder he's not a member of the GPDA. They wouldn't have him after this race.

I think Lewis feels entitled to win (as someone pointed out in another thread) and sees himself as merely taking what is "his".

+1 again, to quote Glock: "Next time I see him on the track, I'll do the same"

Yes he was pushing it but he had to because he was way out of the points and had to make up ground on Massa. Some of it was questionable but thats just him. I believe he is making more enemies than friends and it will all come back to haunt him later this year and in coming years. This is something the drivers will deal with at their level.

Like I said earlier Hamilton is really testing the limits of what's allowed, much like Schumacher did but maybe even bolder. He might be heading for disaster.

Since when have you been following F1?

Seriously. I recommend you dig out some old tapes/DVD from Schumacher's races. Nuerburgring against Ralf and Monaco against Barrichello come to mind. There were a few more. One in Jerez against Villeneuve. That actually caused him to be excluded from F1 from that entire season.

BTW: I'm not complaining about MS' moves. I'm perfectly fine with that. As I am with Hamilton's. What I don't like is the double standard some folks on here apply. If Hami would be driving a Ferrari you'd all be cheering those moves.

Partially wrong: I don't like Massa, true. But I was one of the biggest MS fans there was. My personal karting suit is a replica of Schumacher's. As is one of my helmets (which he signed btw). However I never liked Mike's interviews. They were all oozing with corporate PR speak and never came from the heart.

But isn't risk, chance and daring over taking maneuvers and even mishaps what we all want to see in a race?? If there was a few more racers that did what LH does then racing once again will be great in F1.

I think the one with MW there was something going wrong with his car and he was just trying to hold on to that position, didn't he start to fall behind during the last few laps? I will tell you something, he better watch out, he has already got one case against him now. I remember hearing Steve M. talk about that during the F1 Debrief and he said that McLaren had talked to the guys in race control (Charlie W.) over there radios and asked them if they had did everything right, if I remember right, they said that everything was good and that what he did was right. That's going to be hard to beat in the courts.

Not at all costs and I especially don't need to see mishaps like drivers being taken out by others.

Did you ever see an F1 driver race called michael schumacher race at all?? You know the one, he was the 7 times world champ, who always won at all cost. You need to watch the replays mate, start with him taking out Hill and then take it from there;)

    Right on.

I remember how lame it was to watch Ralf "race": Just droning around the circuit on cruise control. He replaced his tachometer with a "bank account-ometer".

Oh and btw: None of the guys todays drive balls out the way the old stars used to do in the late eighties, early nineties. Senna vs Prost, Schumacher vs Hill. They used their cars as weapons to take each other out.

Yes I saw him race and he got away with a lot and was punished many times as well. Doesn't mean I like seeing drivers putting other drivers at risk. What Hamilton did today to Glock was uncalled for and could have easily turned into disaster and injury.

p.s. there's a thin line between hard but fair and leaving the other no room whatsoever.

Lewis was almost cruel in some of his moves - not good driving

smells so selfish and dangerous - I am not proud of him now
