512s Race Car Body

Looks like a 512 M to me, but as a spider?

 

This is a complete REPLICA body, NOT authentic Ferrari. Done by Randy Berry of Marauder, Potomac/IL. He had Walt Medlin's 512 M #1014 on loan to take molds of the body for a REPLICA project. Marauder had done some changes to make the car more suitable for possible street use. This included the very distinctive lower covering of the tail section. This type of mud guard also helped to hide the non-Ferrari stuff. And, as one can see, the nose section is without the headlamp recesses. And NO, this body was NOT done by the Ferrari factory in Maranello.

Absolutely right as always Marcel, Marauder also did Lola T70 replica bodies. People should be careful how they represent what they sell...

Bad description of a part they want to sell as Ferrari race team original! 150k dollars!!!!??????

Perhaps they might now adjust the price down from $150,000 (!!!!) to $15,000 which would seem a more reasonable price. I'd be tempted myself then.
