When you say "stick trans" I assume you are talking about a manual transmission? If that is the case, I'm sure the HK experience is no different than the Singapore experience. 95% of high-end cars here are sold in the F1, egear, or Tiptronic/PDK transmission. Doesn't seem to be a lot of "old school" manual lovers. I am one, and I order all my cars in manual, but I am in the clear minority. In Singapore, I think there is 1 manual F430 Spyder, 1 manual 997 C2S, and 1 manual Gallardo (Nera Edition).

So yes, it is very difficult to find a manual tranny in this part of the world.

IM also has a M/T F360. What are you looking for? There might also be a F355 on the mkt soon.

Should not be. There are some stick 430's, 430 Spiders and even more 360's. What are you looking for? Why are the cars that you have seen unacceptable to you?

Thanks all for the information, I'm looking for either 355 or earlier batch 360, there are not many in the market compare to the F1 ones, especially I'm looking for those accident free and well maintained one, well, it's not rush but just a bit fudstrated after viewing time by time.

My impression is that it would be easier to find a mint 355.

Most 360s are very beat up, maybe because they are more driveable?

The earlier batch 360's are mostly trashed. You are probably too young to remember how hard a life the 355's had when they were young. That was the peak time for morning drives and the start of China drives. Most of the 355's had a very hard life with owners 1 and 2. It was very hard to find a good used 355 in 98 let alone now! I have owned 2 355's and I would not buy my own cars back :):):)

LOL, I remember first time i rode on a 355 was in japan back in 96. We were invited to the Forza Ferrari event in Suzuka and Cornes very generously lent us the very first 355 (demo car) in japan to drive from Tokyo to Suzuka, back then I was still a chubby kid in the passenger seat :)

I also remember my dad left the car with a long scratch on the wheels hitting a toll booth curb, unfortunately his driving skills haven't changed to date :(

well, was told one of the reason hard to find a 'straight' one becuase drunk n drive was very popular back years ago hence most of them are involved accidents, also after many owners owned the car, many valuable parts or accessories were gone, spot a so called F355 Challenge, but the seats were gone, no offence, a car being handled this way, it's not my cup of tea. I shouldn't be too picky, but just don't want to buy a wrong thing.

I hear you loud and clear mate. Took me more than a year to find mine w/ absolutely verifiable clean history and we're definitely the odd one out wanting a stick & clutch... (Actually the current offerings are way above average in terms of number, although I don't know anything about the quality of these offerings...)
