You can only estimate how many cars were delivered to any country with the GTO because they were mostly private imports, in many cases collected from the factory on EE plates, and their final original destination was sometimes unknown and impossible to determine with certain International owners. I know of at least one car in the strangest of locations with its original owner and I am quite sure that it is thought to be elsewhere (in fact Ive see it noted as such) and it never went to that destination. I will give one example: Walter Wolf was resident in Canada, England, France, Germany, Switzerland & Austria among other countries at the time he took delivery of his GTO. Where was it delivered? An argument can be made that it was delivered to several of the aforementioned countries...Remember, some of the original owners were people who were/are domiciled in multiple locations and the destination of the car was switched to suit their fancy. As for the number of cars in any given country where Ferraris are prolific (such as France), thats impossible to tell and again its only an educated estimate as cars come & go as they are bought & sold on a never-ending ongoing basis... .
Thanks Joe, i think you right also.... i was reading last night some lines about GTO, but nothing was indicated about the units delivered by country. It s not like Enzo's delivery: 17 cars was for France. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
