This is a bit of an odd question but I figure I'll try it anyways. I have a good friend who is the local Bosch representative in my area. He just told me today that he intends to leave this position within the next few weeks. Currently he still has access to some freebies and samples that he can help me with. Fortunately, I don't need anything today (other than the free R12 converion kit he gave me for the A/C). Are there any "small" parts that tend to break frequently or need replacing that I could "stock up"? I have a 328 GTS 1989 with about 24,000mi.
depends on what he can give you free but a WUR would be a good idea as those are north of $200 to replace. fuel pump esp if they still have old internal regulator one, lambda valve.
lets see, a warm up regulator, an additional air valve, a fuel distributor , a thermo time switch..... this could be like x mas!
Thanks guys. This gives me a good start. I just have to find the part numbers for Bosch and I am away to the races. Thanks again.
