Gran Turismo Fall Drive

hey guys,

similar format as last drive, different wicked route, food ready earlier, all welcome. like 11am-3ish.

how about Oct.4th with OctoberFest style grub?

or what about the 11th ? it's the saturday of the Thanksgiving weekend and Monday is the extra day. might be cool this way.

happy to hear your thoughts/preferences on how to make this one even better. all we need is a day like today...good for carbs !

I would like to be the first to sign up. Would love to jump in the seat of an Italian car for the ride, as my Nissan Altima certainly isn't as exciting, if there is something available!!!!!

Fall run sounds great. I can make it Oct 4 but have family things on Oct 11.

I'm in as well, either weekend. We should bring walkie talkies so the front/middle/end can keep in touch. But a helicopter would work as well, but it's more likely we'll see the OPP plane

 

I have a friend who is currently going for his helicopter licence, so thats not ready to go yet, but he does have a few planes..........if we really wanted it he would do it, for a small fee I'm sure....let me know if interested and I will ask him. Also, if anyone is in the market, he has a few small planes for sale, as he will eventually buy a chopper.

I have a set of motorola's. You can add as many as you want if we use the same channel.
Brett, regarding food and drinks, what can I bring to help out or should we all pitch in $30 each for food and drinks.

it would be great if you could bring those walkie-talkies and i'll position Mike 2/3's of the way back to keep us together.
thanks for the offer to chip in but it really isn't necessary. they are not expensive events to put on...honestly. thanks though.
it is enough that you guys are willing to make your way here, considering the price of gas, so consider us 'all square' in that respect.

i'm really looking foward to this. i hardly drove at all this summer.

 

Sounds good - add Rob in the Porsche, Rick in a 365 GT 2+2, and Craig - 348 Spider - new guy. I agree - we should pitch in for food and drinks.

 

Hey Ilio, Is that Rick from Impera Autobody bringing the 365 (I thought it was a 400 he had). Tell him to bring along his Bodyman Tony for the ride. I grew up with Tony and hardly get to see him anymore. Small world!

we'd love to have you out Scott so i hope your schedule allows. i know it was the last minute switch due to rain the first time around that prevented you from being here. i hope it works for you this time around. thanks.

 

let's meet at 11:00am at the southwest corner of 400 and 9 (same spot as last time).
we'll head out for 2 hours and lunch will be READY upon our return at 1:30. from there, departure times are up to you...i'll be around until whenever.
