That's an interesting piece. Instant thoughts: With the heavy strokes readily apparent on the [silicone] breasts, whereas most else seems to be spray-painted [modern paint media], it's a comment on superficiality and whorish behavior in modern times, where nothing is left to the imagination as women exploit themselves, sans the inner and outer ugliness of Willem de Kooning's [fear of] "Woman" series.
funny, i was gonna go with the artist wasn't breast fed as a baby storyline. well, whatever helps you sleep at night i say.
seriously though tarek, i would be interested in more info. artist, where you bought it and how much, why you saw it to begin with and what grabbed you about it. did you buy it as an "investment" or as wallpaper?
She's a Dutch artist living in Eindhoven, Holland. She almost has the same size breasts as in the painting . The painting cost Euro 1500,- and it's definitely not an investment. I met the artist by chance during holidays. I liked her vulgar style in painting.
