I am looking for F355 Berlinetta (only) models in a scale larger than 1:64, preferably 1:18. Rosso corsa/tan interior color (only). I really would like a highly detailed model(s) with many photo-etched parts. I am, by no means, an expert or large-scale model collector, so assistance would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions or items for sale? Thanks in advance for any information/tips.

Thanks for the reply, Mike! When will this Elite F355 be available and from whom? Also, who would you recommend to purchase the above-mentioned UT and FW models from? As you can see, I am not really a collector. I just would like a few GOOD models that emulate my 1998 F355 Berlinetta. I have a BANG 1:64 F355 Berlinetta in Rosso corsa/tan that was a limited edition (300 total) made for the Ferrari Club of Italia.

Thanks, Joe! I pre-ordered one from Cavallino as per your suggestion. Does anyone know anything about the Elite model - quality, price, availability?

As far as I know it has been canceled. Instead they are going to make the 550Barchetta Elite

It did not know it was cancelled....

Well, for better quality, UT is the best choice, for further details, you can buy some aftermarket parts to upgrade it....

I have models collections over 800pcs of 1/18 and about 500pieces more on various scales like 1/43, 1/12, 1/24, also there are another 3000 pieces in 1/64 Kyosho....

F355 is one of my favorite models, I have counted onces 2 years, there are about 100 pieces...

Scott, just watch eBay, they turn up from time to time. I have a red tan UT 355GTB, good model, best on the market currently.

    Mike:

THANK YOU!! I did a search on eBay before it posted this thread - for some reason the International sellers did not come-up. Strange! Just bought a new UT F355 Berlinetta RC/tan for 61.00 euros (including shipping from Germany) with a BIN. Not a bad price. I really didn't want to shop-around for days. You mentioned something about a transkit for this UT model. Is there a model store which has these in-stock or do I just need to keep checking on eBay?

    All the best,

    Scott
