They are working on an even lighter version of the Scuderia apparantly.

Looks like its a Barchetta, as opposed to a spyder?

What I notice is that its supposed to be about the "World Premier" of the Ferrari California and there is no picture of the California in the picture at all. I wonder why…

That's mostly because the California is an ugly, bloated, convoluted mess of a car and Ferraris are supposed to be beautiful.
Soooo, you leave the pic of the ugly car out of the frame and subtly show something truly interesting in the background.

besides the fact that such a car would be produced in small numbers, and would be more collectible, the big question remains: is such a car nicer looking as a coupe or as a convertible??? I think no doubt, as a coupe!

Don´t like this idea of a Scuderia Spider at all. It´s supposed to be a road going version of the race car, right? And how many convertible race cars have you seen? There simply isn´t anything like a Lambo Superleggera Spyder or a Porsche 911 GT3 Cabriolet.. there shouldn´t be a Scuderia Spider.. either go with the standard F430 Spider or the race car for the road.

Interesting. The scene with the Scuderia spider has been edited out of the World Premiere video on the website.

There was a guy who did a Stradale Spider out here. Maybe they got the inspiration from that? Seems like F will stop at nothing as long as they can squeeze a lot of money out of it.
