Guess what guys...the spoiler is finished and the new tires are being mounted as I type. Looks like a banner weekend. So Committed: Lane 348 SS Peter 308 GT4 Frank 355 F1 Jason 355 F1 Dean 328 GTS Should be committed: Mike 360 Awaiting psycho-anaylsis disposition: Matt Chris
Jess - are you riding in with us or meeting us there? Your welcome to my passenger seat down, but I'm going home another way. Can anyone get Jessica back to Rocky Hill? Lane
I just got the green light to attend. Should be at S'bucks around 9'ish. Jess can ride back to RH with me if she is looking for a ride.
Have a safe and fun day guys. Tomorrow is the last day for outdoor volleyball for me. I have an all day family and friends vball picnic in Hamden. I should be at Starbucks next weekend. We need to set up a Gillette's castle meet and a little fall foliage drive. I can carry spare tires in the trunk of the BMW
I've stayed in bed all day today trying desperately to reset my back. I put it out Friday night and have tried everything (including medication) to get it well enough to participate tomorrow. It's 11:30PM and things are not looking good. I'll try again in the morning but baring a miracle..... This just plain sucks
Really sorry to hear that Lane. Most of us know what it's like to do that. I can provide a referral to an excellent chiropractor if you are willing and able to drive to Westborough, MA.
Lane, hope you feel better.... ill be wearing my black Fchat t-shirt from Montreal to stand out in the crowds in Westport.
OK. How many of us got home and couldn't do anything before washing the 1/2" of dust off the car? <raises hand> Dayum, I couldn't even see out the windshield! Great time, great show... Lane, we missed you, sorry you were under the weather and couldn't be with us. Hopefully next Sunday! Also looking forward to Festa di Ferrari on the 5th, and another trip through the tunnel on the Merritt.... Great seeing all you guys, as always!
It was another great day! The P4/5 was amazing... Looking forward to the next show....only two weeks away!

Best Rocky Hill showing to date...10 Ferrari's I believe including an Enzo and 360 Challenge Stradale, the Lambo, Viper... Great meeting the new faces, hope to see everyone next week! Awesome day! I especially loved the sound of the 360 CS; it made all 12 of the hairs on my head stand up, especially in the tunnel. And the Countach looked imposing coming up fast in the rearview - very sinister. Stan - nice to meet you. My 6 y.o. son was disappointed that he missed a chance to see an Enzo in person. That was a top notch show. I wasn't expecting so many 1 offs and rare autos. BTW, was that David Letterman's California S?
Rocky Hill was a great meet...but the drive was even better! No doubt the CS sounded amazing going through the tunnel. Here's a few pics of my view: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh man, I can't believe I was stuck at the house today.... I missed the best turn out yet!!! And Stanley's Enzo!!!
The show was fantastic, minus the dust bowl conditions in the lot. We even had a chance to chat with Napolis (Jim) about his incredible P4/5! Best collection of cars I've ever seen in one place - P4/5, California Spiders, McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron... Thanks for all the well wishes. I wanted to go so badly I loaded my busted arse in the car. Sat there for 10 minutes until the realization set in. Took a half hour to get back out. I'l be there next week if I have to make wifey drive Looks like a great turn out. Is that a 550M I see in one of those shots? Did you guys hook up with DaveM? Seriously though...I wanted to show off my spoiler. (I'm so proud)
You need a paddle shift There indeed was a 550 also. Take care of that back, Festa Di Ferrari is coming up in Stamford!
Great pictures and good company as always. I am quite sorry i could not follow the convoy to the show but I am glad I could drive part of the way. The McLaren is one of my favorite cars.
I think we should all chip in and get you some high flow cats Was great to drive with you...nothing like driving with a practically unmuffled Countach.
