Probably needs a major. I paid way less than that a year ago for a ' 92 ts.

The Spiders have dropped $10K in a year. They're bringing less than the TSs.

Given the financial markets recently, there may be more price pressure in the "toy" car market. Not a lot of home equity left to blow on third and fourth cars.

Very subjective statement. If they didn't put the date of the last service. I'd be willing to bet it's past the recommended time interval and they are going off miles since last service. Even at 48K it's a good buy so long as there are no stories.

Am I crazy or is this the only 348 with only one brake duct opening? (Or whatever those holes are below the fogs?)

That is not brake ducting my friend. :):)

That is an air scoop for the a/c condensor that is tucked away in there. :D:D

Oh man, I guess I'm crazy. Seriously, I can't believe I've never noticed that, and I even looked at 348's when I was buying!! Thanks Pap for straightening me out. You, as always, are the man.

There seems to be a causal relationship between the health of the economy and old exotic car prices...
I was in the market for a F355, but I was also in the Market (and close to retirement), so now I'm not.

I think that car has been on the market for a year or more. They may be finally just trying to get rid of it.

Some view this economy in a bad light. Others view it as a GREAT opporitunity....

Now is the time to buy :)

When my car was up on the rack for the major, I looked in that intake and all you could see was a condenser for the A/C unit looking back at you. In our cars, does the air that passes through the condenser THEN go to the brakes, or did I not see a route which has air diverted before those fins looking back at me?

Just asking - not trying to question your vast knowledge :p
