I'd like to see more discussion on this...my question, is there any special precaution putting an F1 on a Dynapak dyno (hub mounted)? I'd think no, just work through the gears as if it had a 3rd pedal. Just wondering...

The 355 comes pretty high strung already. There are some mods that will add power, but it's going to take about 70hp over stock to get to 400whp.
IMO, the best improvements come from reducing weight, which makes everything work better. Some extra low end couldn't hurt though.

Hmmm... so, you're telling me that the 355 has 330 @ the wheels. I thought it was more. It appears the only way to get 400 would be boost.
Again, anyone with a dyno sheet with exhaust and/or chip mods.

Ferrari always give its BHP figures at the Crank and not the wheels. So 330@the wheels is about 170ish at the crank. Sound about right.
Use the search button, there have been standard and modded 355s on the dynos and posted on here. I have just found the reading my self using search.

Most stock F355's I've dyno'd have been in the low 300's. Each dyno reads differently but it's more like 310rwhp on most brands of dynos for a stock F355

Oops i ment 370ish at the crank not 170ish. Typing error and "My bad" as they say across the pond (and for no good reason that makes any sense:D)

After the October track event I am going to have mine dyno'd and tuned. I plan to report the results. But I am not the first to go down this road. My plans were made after discussion with other satisfied customers. The 355 has a decent output stock, but when you increase flow up stream and downstream you always have ways to make a bit more. We'll see...

My fathers 355 should be on the dyno before winter, it has a Tubi muffer already installed. We are hoping to also to do a run with high flow cats and then test pipes and log the differences.

Question about the 355 on the dyno, does not matter which tailpipe the O2 sniffer is installed into? Which of the two (on each side) is the "low restrictive" side?

That's no slouch. 18.8 at the rear wheels is a nice improvement (I likey 348s too).
