One early evening I decided to walk my dog around the block, and as I was walking I glance over this two stories home with the windows open with a bright light on. I noticed a poster on the bedroom wall and realized it was a Euro 308 GTS QV, I stood there with my dog for about a min. and couldn't believe what I saw. So the next day I went to that house and talked to a man that leaves there and told him I as I was walking my dog yesterday, I happened to notice the poster on their bedroom wall band ask him where did he get that and where can I get one, His replied was, that belongs to my son and I don't think he likes that poster anymore, if you like I can ask him if he like to get rid of it. So I got excited and offer to pay for it if his son is willing to sell it. The old man told me to come back tomorrow as his son Erwin is not home.

Next day I came back, rang the doorbell and the same man answered the door, as soon as I can say a word he said, oh yes wait here. After a min he cam back with the poster all rolled up and said, here, it's yours, I asked him how much do I owe you or your son? He replied, nothing, I was so happy I said thank you and thank your son for me. To make long story short I went to Michaels and had them made me a frame for the poster, and here it is, its 49" X 21"

Now all you need is a Euro 308 to match the poster.

brownies may do ti for you, the copyright is where it may be difficult. but any large printing place will have the ability to scan or photocopy it, then print. OCE (oh-say) KIP and HP have the Eq.

I have this exact poster. It is the one that I stared at throughout my teenage years. Its probably why I love the car so much today. I believe it had 2 smaller images on the side that I cut off. Looks like the same was done to this poster as well.

Very cool poster. My favorite one is the 308 with a girl and a bottle of wine in profile side view.

I've seen that poster too, and I admit I'm no expert, but can someone identify if that truely is a QV Euro?

Here are the things I notice:
    1) Square side marker, I thought euros had round side markers unless they were "americanized"
    2) Mirrors dont look the same, my ex-QV (US) had different shaped mirrors, mounting was longer, I assume to help with the electric motor and how its mounted.
    3) No back spoiler, the black "wing" over the engine bay. I thought all QV's had that spoiler
    4) Front spoiler is clear euro-like, but could have been added
    5) Diaper/aprin in the back? I cant see the rear of the car but it looks more like a euro though.

    Just curious.

Hey that looks suspiciously like one I had in my room as a kid.

    Sweet find, regardless.

Its an early non-north american qv. The front rectangular light is for an over-seas market and it has no diaper, it has the one piece valance with two tip cutouts. The height of the tips in relation to the bumper are also a give away that its a euro QV.

    Good story.

Mike Kuhn at Norwood Performance gave me a framed poster exactly like that after I bought my '83 GTS; he's a Porsche guy and said a friend had given him the 308 poster.

    See my profile pic.

Great story.. I too had something similiar happen to me. Started talking cars with this Porsche car guy.. I let him know I'm into Ferrari's...
He gave me old books on Ferrari's and their history, as well as some 'car books'...from the UK..I need to look them over to post specifics here
