Prius with.....

A radar detector and deeply tinted windows. Isn't that kind of a contradiction in terms. Ill get a picture if I see it again

 

The radar detector certainly is. The tinted windows.....maybe their embarrassed?

 

The cops run radar in school zones, so I suppose there's SOME functionality there.

 

I see Priuses doing 80+ on the highway all the time. someone needs to explain to these people the mileage/speed tradeoff.

also as an aside, I would say 8 of the last 10 times I've been cut off in traffic have been by Prius or Civic Hybrid drivers. WTF?

 

The best way I have found to deal with the smug pricks who hybrids and cut you off is to screw with them in traffic. Get right up behind them, fly past them, get in front of them and brake check them etc... Yeah I'm kind of ******, I know.

 

I was stopped @ a red light when a car coming behind me switched to the empty lane next to me, and floored it at the green and cut me off. Next light we both turned left and he did the same thing. It was a brand new Nissan Altima hybrid, no plates.

I'm guessing this dufus was happy with his 20-23 mpg vs 13mpg from his jacked up SUV, and thinking all manufacturers lie about things like '35mpg city, 33 highway' (which maybe normal people might get!)

 

Was out on the motorcycle this afternoon and had a Prius driver (on her cellphone) pull a u-turn right in front of me. Had to slam on the brakes to miss her. Next 3 miles she had to listen to me doing 40 mph in 1st gear at 10k rpm, a foot off her driver's side window

oh btw honey, I'm still getting better mpg on the bike than you are in your EarthMobile

 

My buddy and I saw a Prius with a fart can exhaust (the type often seen on Civics etc).

Al Gores son needed a radar detector in his. Could have saved him a lot of trouble.

 

Every Prius should have a cell phone jammer installed.

So true. God I hate the smug pricks that drive those things, hybrids and Escalades that is.

Side note, I'm working on something to jam the speakers in cars within a given radius, am looking forward to testing it on the typical ****** with his stereo up too loud. The fart exhaust, subs too loud, big chrome wheels, annoying paint schemes, rear spoilers 150hp front wheel drive cars etc.... those people.
The device is fairly simple, I've got some more work to do but I'll get some pictures up when its completed.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot about the prius I saw last year. It was black, black tinted tails, black rims with a chrome strip around it, and a speaker system we could hear at the stoplight. Looked like a college kid, which it probably was.

 

along the lines of a Bose noise-canceling headset, without the headset? that would be awesome.

The device its self makes no noise. The only noise that will be herd are very loud blips and white noise out of all speakers turned on in a given area. I haven't started the build phase yet because I need to check its legality.

 

I wanna see a prius with one of these.

Oh man, the Prius is a blast. When you're going just a tad bit over the speed limit Cops don't really do anything. "Hey that guy is doing 65 in a 45." "Yeah? What's he driving?" "A prius" "LOL!"
