    Few people would argue that that 599 with a standard exhaust is a bad sounding car which made me sceptical about how a Tubi could improve on what is already a great sound track.

    Firstly, all the exhaust consists of is differant back exahust boxes, my scepticism levels increased but I wasnt ready for how much louder the car is at idle, the Tubi being a vavle- less system, there is a great sound at idle but where the most improvement can be be hear is between 2500 rpm and 5500 rpm and even at the top end there is much more of a scream, the claim is a few more bhp but its hard to feel any differance when there are over 600 horses anyway...

    Back to the sound, as you can hear on the video, its not obnoxious, sure it may set off the odd car alarm and rattle the odd window but to me it sounds great and looking at th expressions of other motorists it seems they agree...

    The new exahaust tips do stand proud of the rear bumper thought, a nice improvement, just adds something differant to the back of the car, some contrast.

    In case anyone is wondering this is the mid range Tubi system there is one above this that is basically straight through and a apparently extremely loud...

    As an aside also got to hear a 550 with a Tubi...in my opinion the exhaust resonates too much, few guys that ordered Tubis here for 550's actually took them off because it the noise was just too much.

    Red is the best color and great sound on that car !
    you mention that what you have is a mid range tubi, do they also have a low range that is less loud? also please let us know how much is the cost and what web site can we look up. do you have the on/off valve? is it ok on long journeys ? or is it too loud in the cabin?

    They do have a low range but its more like the standard exhaust and not worth it in my opinion from a cost point of view. Exhaust can from Scuderia Systems in the UK, dont have a website off hand but I think they do advertise here.

    I dont feel that its too loud, no loud enough to drown out the Bose sound system...should one tire of the 12 cylinder music being played up front.

    While the 12 cylinder cars do not have the history of exhaust manifold failures like teh 355, 360, and 430 so going with aftermarket won't be a warranty issue, but I still like the stock sound.

    Sounds great.. hell, i think it's a worthwhile investment just to get rid of those horrible stock tips.. Got any pics of the back of the car with the new tips?

    I wonder if the 599 with TUBI sounds as good as the 612 with the factory sports exhaust (which is the best sounding F-car in the current line-up IMO)?
