    Yup you're right and I'm sorry for the word "retard", never thought it in such a large social way. But in any case that doesn't excuse the last mistakes of the whole crew. I'm not talking only about Singapore. But let's say after Hungagoring. Hm? I mean c'mon ... what's wrong with them man?
    I hope is not going to rain in China or Japan ....

    Imo the light system sounded like a bad idea from the get go. Bring back the lollypop man, while there is still a chance for a mistake the margin is much smaller.

    I'm not sure but it appears the problem was, instead of a lollypop the man in charge has a switch to turn the lights green as it gets busy with the SC, so in theory and I can't see it myself, but the same thing could/would have happened..

    Is there any reason that there couldn't be a light in the cockpit linked directly to the fuel nozzle, one that stays red as long as the nozzle remains connected?

    That FUP probably cost Massa any chance at getting WDC. WCC slipping away now too.

    all i know is this kind of mistakes shouldn't happen with 3 races left. Shame on whoever is responsible for this stupid mistake! We gotta understand that Massa has nothing to do with it, he did everything right.

    Not to be too pedantic, but he crashed. If he had been in the lead at that time, he would have lost the win regardless.

    If my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. We don't know if would have crashed because he would not have been in the position he was (running 13th) if the team did not f-up. I understand you hate him, but c'mon the guy has been outstanding most of the season and if it was not for the moronic mistakes he would have a comfortable lead in the WDC

    Even given the SPA win there are far too many variables to say that.

    HUngary =10points
    today=10points

    Massa would've had 15 points lead right now. Everyone is writing him off 'cause of 7point lead for LH. Yeah I would say it would've been pretty comfortable

    I did not say he was perfect. He started the year in a disastrous fashion, but more than made up for it. And even with his mistakes if the team did not let him down today and in Hungary he would have 15 points advantage right now.

    No disagreement there.

    Regardless of whoever wins the title, this season is one awesome roller coaster ride with lots of mistakes and super performances all around. Just the fact that we have so many different race winners shows how great of a season this is.

    Whoever will be runner up to the title will have a lot of soul searching to do. Hami, Massa, Kubica, Kimi and Kovalainen all did great and totally miserable drives. Without mistakes any one of those could be in the lead now (well Heiki maybe not, but you get my point).

    Steve, One never knows what might have been but isn't it obvious that a lot of this year's problems come from poor team management?
    My first reaction upon seeing J.T. in the pits this weekend was one of relief.

    Well said. Kimi is a huge disappointment to me personally though. They should save money and just make Massa's car with two seats so Kimi can ride along around the tracks.

    Yeah, what was all that about.
    Did he finally start loosing sleep because of the team's performance and said "that's it I'm gonna go show them how it is done"?

    You really can't make that assumption. In this case, I think that was due to fluid on the track, at least according to the SpeedTV announcers. If he were in the lead, there is no way to tell if he would have been in that location at that exact time.

    Even so, his lead was so great, his spin, not really a crash, probably only cost him 10 seconds. No telling for real what would have happened.

    For all the comments about Massa's miserable season start, Felipe was within one point, and now only 7 points behind Hamilton. Even if you add points to Hamilton for Spa, Massa is still in second place. Beating Raikkonene, beating Kubica. What does that say about Massa? Consider the blown engine, and today, not his fault.

    What does that say about Hamilton?

    It says that Massa is as good if not far better than anyone else on the grid. Including Hamilton.
