Is that the YOW model P4/5?? It looks better than the built up I saw of it.
I think they made less than 100 of those kits.
You can figure it cost them several thousand $$ to do the master and they had to make atleast 2 sets of molds(50 models per set of rubber molds).
They lost money on this model. Diecasts are made in the thousands so they can make back the cost of prototyping the model+ cheap Chinese
labor helps keep cost way down.

That was taken in Sunriver, Oregon during the Festival of Cars (this past weekend).

By the looks of it someone walked through the parking area for the condos where some participants of the show, were staying. Both cars were a part of the show. That's Mr. Ron Tonkin's Enzo, in the background.

Jim, it was great meeting you today and seeing the P4/5 in person for the first time. Amazing car, thanks for taking your time to continue sharing it with us Tifosi! My favorite is the engine bay - red, white, and carbon.

i've been looking at this car online and thought it was amazing, but seeing it at the fairfield concours was amazing. there's something about seeing it in person that amazed me. i had no idea it would even be at the concours, so you can imagine how happy i was when i found out it would be coming within 20 minutes of me! i know that it's kinda late but congradualtions on creating such an amazing piece of work.

the one thing i cant seem to figure, Jim, out is how those little windows work, could you explain those?

There is a very efficient AC system that runs all the time so you don't really use them except to vent cockpit or pay a toll.

They swing in as on a aircraft.

The engineering requires a two stage seal system as at high speed there is quite a pressure differential between the cockpit and the outside and without that your ears would really pop.

The engine cooling system is enough to allow the AC to run even on the track.

Jim, how are the exhausts working out? Do you much prefer them to the originals?

I do like the way they look better.

The system whereby one can make the exhaust flow by pass the mufflers but keep the cats in from the cockpit is really cool.

They seem to flow better make a bit more torque, which you can feel and probably helps the aero a touch.
