(kind of) farewell, I'm moving to the USA

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that I am moving to the US, and wanted to say goodbye....even though I definitely will check-in on the forum occasionally. I'll be leaving this Saturday to head over to San Francisco for about a month, to lock down a job, then be back home before Christmas to finalise my Visa before relocating permanently.

I've been a part of this forum for quite a few years now, and though I don't post often, I read it all too often. It's been a fun place to hang out, and get to know some great people, both in real life and online. I'm really going to miss the (all too infrequent) drive days!

I've been working for Bay Area companies for over 10 years now, and have done everything I could want to in the Asia Pac region, so it's time to move closer to a bigger market. I'll continue to work with interesting startups, primarily in the Mobile Internet space.

If anyone wants to come and visit, I'm sure we'll have a spare room, just drop me a line. I am *really* looking forward to a land of cheap cars, Laguna Seca and Highway 1

also it means I sadly have to sell my 360, which has been an amazing machine, I hope it goes to a good home.

It was very nice meeting you during last drive in sydney, wishing you nothing but the best O/S, I have relies live in CA, cousin lives in San Diego, So i guess we'll catch up next time I'm up there.

nope. attempting to sell it myself.

I can arrange access & test drives of the car while I'm away. My phone & email will work wherever I am.

Your 360 looks great. Are you going to buy another 360 Spider when you get settled in the US?? Or are you going to "upgrade" to a 430 Spider for the same money??
