"A fully-optioned GTO"? As in: power windows, red inserts, megaphone pipes and airconditioning? Gr. Martin
normaly yes, from the factory...but it exist some GTO with radio (personal decision). In france C Pozzi doesn t accept cars with AC/PW.
Not true. At least six new 288 GTOs imported to France by Charles Pozzi SA were equipped with air conditioning and power windows. Marcel Massini
RM should have its entire history and Max Girardo will be happy to supply it. It was posted on this thread a long while back when imaged in the previous owner's underground garage in Thailand, next to his Gullwing...
Correct. It would be very odd that an official importer would refuse certain options on a limited-production Supercar....
Agreed. I view the car exactly as finished by the 'works' as Art. It would be a bit like saying to your significant other after taking a long hard look at the Picasso one day: "Honey, I think it needs a dab of silver paint about THERE...." OK in my case it would be a reproduction Picasso
I have the following as potentially delivered new to France : 52473 53295 53765 53779 54223 54243 54777 55165 55179 55679 Could you precise if they are correct and what are the other ones ? BR Olivier
Christian you're right (as per your post title), it is the customer who decides specification. So whatever Monsieur Pozzi felt about Supercars with AC & PW is really irrelevant, and I fail to see how him changing his mind had any bearing on the matter whatsoever. Unless there is more to tell? .

Nice car. Chassis number anyone? Hm, quite a few cars have the bezel around the horn-button missing. I wonder if some owners dont even know it should be there...
