    Interesting thread!

    But there's a thingy that keeps confusing me...

    On my 348, the sign reads "ROSSO CORSA 300/9
    and a friend of mine has "ROSSO CORSA 300/10 ...and another has 300/12

    what does those numbers mean??? 9 - 10 - 12 ???? :confused:

    I havent READ the entire thread, so if it's in there somewhere please excuse me :D:D

    They're slightly different shades. If you put the wrong one on a bit of your car you'll see the difference!

    Ferrari owners site said my car is sebring bleu it is 1988 model built oct 87. but it seems very close to chiaro and has the same code 503 /c. any info?

    Sebring blue is Blu Chiaro Metallic (503/C).

    Where does your car fall - 74875, 78877, 79021...?

    My 04/1980 has got Glidden Salchi paint sticker in blue / silver bearing the code : 599.5.190 for Rosso Chiaro, while the service book bears the additional info : paint code # 20-R-190.

    A 04/1976 365 GT4 2+2 I know had an Italver sticker bearing code # 2.443.048 for Silver Grey Metallic.

    I now know more than I ever wanted to know about my 1969 365 GT 2+2 paint color (Grigio Ortello). I have all the codes, the names in English and Italian, and the formulae for both lacquer and top coat/clear coat (thanks to PPG who bought Ditzler/Italver many decades ago). What I do not know and would dearly love to know is:

    WERE THERE EVEN PAINT CODE STICKERS ON 365 GT 2+2 CARS ?
    IF SO, WHERE ?

    I bought a silver Italver sticker from Kilimanjaro Designs but don't know where to put it or even whether to put it on the car. DOES ANYBODY KNOW?

    08669 is the ex-Garry Albrecht car (275 GTB/6C). The original color was Argento 106-E-1 with Nero VM 8500 interior. Back in 1966 there was no Argento Nürburgring color. 08669 was delivered new to German importer Auto Becker in Düsseldorf.
    The engine internal number is 1316/64.
