Hi all, trust you are well. Just been surfing ebay (amongst others), for some detailing products, as it's now time for me to spend some money on my baby. Here's my shopping list for those who are interested. Capristo stage 3 Exhaust and Muffler/Hyperflow kit. 355 18's Daytona style seat recover Lots of nice bits: Nice wing shields, Ally pedals etc ..Anyway, whilst I was looking, I found this and thought it was a great product...Good enough to share (I'm not associated with the Seller etc)...Let me know if this can be sourced cheaper: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FERRARI-348-Mondial-T-Service-Kit_W0QQitemZ250188514556QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item250188514556&_trkparms=72%3A1301%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Regards Mark
Timing and accessory belts are *not* the place to save money. $100 for a belt is trivial next to the labor, anyway. What you want for your timing belt service are new Hill Engineering tensioners and a good water pump (I use a rebuilt one, others use factory new). These parts aren't necessarily cheaper, though they can be...just better for more peace of mind. But if you find a decent source for Daytona-style leather seat covers to do a refurb on 348 seats, please share the source!
For the seats, there's only one company for me...They're miles away (probably further for you), but their work is absolutely spectacular. They may do the cut and export I don't know...Best I've ever seen, they've won tonnes of awards. Here it is: http://www.trim-star.co.uk
Just as for your seats, stick with high quality for your timing belt and tensioners. Not a place to save $$ or pounds.
Has genuine filters in the pic. I wonder if it is a genuine Ferrari/Dayco cam belt?? You cant really tell from the pic?? Perhaps it is??
I have 2 sets of 355 wheels--one set powdercoated black and the other stock silver color...Not sure if shipping cost would be worth it ---but PM if your interested....
