I'm thinking of replacing my light tan (beige) carpet in my red TR. I have a brown dash and tan seats and wondered if anyone has changed the color of their carpet? What color and what type of carpet did you use? Show some pics if you have them.
    Thanks,
    John

I am kind of thinking about the same thing, but I would like to have something that matches the original (tan). Mine has a Ferrari logo sort of dyed into the right floor side, but not on the driver's side.

Does everybody or anybody else have the problem of the driver's side scrunching up underneath the pedals?

Shamile did his, and found a place that supplies all of the carpet (except the trunk) including the speaker covers. I think he changed his to a black carpet. I was also thinking about black or poss even red.

Yeah, my tan (beige) really is hard to keep clean. Maybe Shamile could shoot a picture of his interior. I have seen a couple of places that sell the carpet sets, but I'm not sure of the quality.

Yeah, mine does the same thing. I saw somewhere a solution to this. I will research a little and try to get back on it.

Shamile has black carpets and I think it looks really nice. I am sure he will post some pictures. I have seen the picture on another thread - just can't remember which one.

    Dear Ferraristi,

    Did someone call?

Here are some photos I posted in AGS86TR's thread. He had pm'd me awhile back for some photos.

I bought the carpet set from GAHH. It's a full Wilton Wool carpet with full leather binding and beautifully done stitching. It took me the whole thanksgiving day weekend....4 full days working from morning till evening. The job was done right....not fast.

I preferred the black as it contrasts nicely with the brown and tan. It's easier to clean and well...I just have always preferred a black interior.

    BTW,

I have the full tan carpet set that I removed including Ferrari logo heavy duty tan mats. The set's in great shape and was only removed because I prefer black.

    If anyone's interested....let me know....selling cheap....don't need it.

again, in excellent condition....it was removed very carefully.

Oh, and I have an extra set of Keith Collins Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster floor mats too....opps....wrong thread :D

    Dear Ferraristi,

Don't bother going by GAHH's website....it's kinda lame.

Call them and ask them directly.

    (B) 818 767 6242

    Fax 818 767 2786

I called them and ordered the carpet set directly.....after asking allot of questions......quality, fit, OEM looking...etc.

The carpet is of very high quality. Most resellers (Italian carparts ) get their sets from GAHH anyway. GAHH is one of the main suppliers to the exotic market.

Called them as well as re-origanals. Both are working on a quote. The other sugestion looks like wilton wool as well. I would love to know about any quality difference between them as in the long run the cost difference will be well over shadowed by the quality.

    Dear Ferraristi,

Go with Wilton wool. The cost difference is well worth it. The TR does not use Wilton wool OEM but a nylon carpet. The feel and look of the Wilton wool carpet is far superior and, in the long run better suited to your Ferrari.

    Good luck with the hunt.

I wonder why no one offers a trunk replacement? Even though I have a tan carpet, the trunk is grey (they pretty much put whatever was around in there) and have wanted to change it to Black, If I bought the "raw" carpet from GAHH, where could I get them cut and trimmed. They could use the originals for the template.
