Hi, I am looking for a good either 1:18 or 1:143 model a a Ferrari F355, not hot wheels because they gave it chrome wheel, not correct. If anyone knows of a good model of the 355 please let me know, I wish autoart modeled Ferraris.

Also same thing with the F40 and F430 scuderia.

If anyone can find good models of those three cars please let me know I would prefer them in rosso corsa

    thanks

UT Models F355 is the best one out IMO. Its the same casting as the Hot Wheels but less detail and the wheels are not chrome.
The F40 by Kyosho and F430 Scud Hot Wheels Elite or BBR. The ones I mentioned are all 1:18.
If you want a budget car then go get a Bburago F40 and a Hot Wheels 430. The UT F355 in 1:18 can be found around $45.00 but you have to really look online or at local shops. Most of the time ebay has them for for well over $50.00 USD.

Is this the difference, just the chrome wheels?

so UT has less detail, so qhy the higher price?

It is hard to explain, the detail looks like less but the whole model is so much better, I think one of the reasons I have seen is the paint, HW F355s have tons of paint that kind of thickens up the model and I guess UT has thin paint, if that makes any sense.

At scale18.com they have the Kyosho F40 for $94, I'd grab it, it's the red one which is now very rare. They used to have the yellow ones for $64 and I grabbed it and it was probably the best diecast purchase I have ever made. I think the Kyosho F40 is a must have for all Ferrari collectors, as it's a very detailed and well crafted model of one of the most important Ferrari's ever made

As said UT made the F355, I have the Rosso Corsa Spyder and I love it!

Thanks for the website, I might pick up one of those F40s in red, a little expensive though, but I have been looking at pictures of it, it is nice detailed, is the 35 on that website too?

The 355's have been long discontinued by UT----Ebay is your BEST bet to find one---I just saw a couple sell for less than $50 brand new in box. Some dealers want to charge $150 for them, insane....

Geeee who could that be lol?

He is right the UT is not made anymore but if you look hard enough you should find one around $50.00.
I found this one in a local diecast shop last year for $30.00

That F40 seems good, and the seller has 100% feedback so go for it.
