Great photos Ed! I can't believe how clapped out the Hollywood sign looks in the third photo. I'd forgotten that it was once so bad.

I would love to learn the story of 0450AM. Why/how did it go from a Spyder to a Berlinetta? Thanks.

Here is a sistter car to them. The photo is from Michael Frostick's Pinin Farina, Master Coachbuilder. The caption calls it a Mondial, but does the same for 0450 AM.
There are some very subtle differences.
Unfortunately the chassis numbers are not listed with the photos, but separately in the back mof the book, which makes the reference somewhat wanting.

What is the chassis number of this car?

    Thanks Boudewijn!

How did you distinguish it as a Mondial so quickly?

    Christian and Giotto,

    Of course. Thank you.

Just got back from a good drive around the Cape peninsula in the 308, top off, on this glorious spring day, and realised it was obvious, hoping that by my return home nobody had answered yet so I could answer my own question.

Fortunately, the author of the book mentioned earlier got it wrong a couple of times as well, look at the (very stunning) car on this page:
