    Dear Ferraristi,

The year it came with the TR was the year you ADDED it to your engine cover.

No but it looks like a window from a motor home, rubber seal and all.

If it had come that way from the factory, many would be paying good money for the solid cover that we have now.

Reference - how long before an aftermarket hood comes along to eliminate this fault on the new ZR1 Corvette?

That Norwood cover is for a Testarossa and doesn't fit on a 512TR

The new ZR1 doesn't have anything to show off, unlike the TR! Must admit the 512TR is poorly executed.

    Dear Ferraristi,

I've never really been a fan of these see-thru engine covers...even the OEM ones on the 360 etc. It looks too "fast and the furious" . All you need are some neon under body lights, a big wing and a large "fart can" muffler.

I just like the grill that allows you to see the "muscle" underneath without calling overt attention to one element overshadowing the rest of the car.

    ....just my 2 U.S. dollars,

Sorry Shamile, to me it's just showing a little cleavage. To me one of the main parts to a Ferrari is the mechanical beauty of the design. After all this is mechanical design first wrapped in an exotic design body, to hide it from display is a crime. IMHO. Taking anything to an extreme wouldn't be good either.

I love the way they look! Yes, it's a little eye-catching...but we ARE talking about a Testarossa, for pete's sake. The car is NOT demure.
