Don't confuse the car company with Ferrucio's stupid son, he puts his "Lamborghini" name on just about anything from energy drinks to power tools.

 

No different from the industrialist and entrepreneur Ferruchio was. Ferruchio had air conditioning and refrigeration companies, a vineyard, etc etc.

 

He is anything but stupid. Used his surname, little bit of talent and NO hard work to make a fortune. Thats not stupid at all!

From the standpoint of options for residences in Dubai, from looking at that website, this place is tame.

+1 I can't blame him at all. What if your last name was "Vuitton," "Hilfiger," or "Chanel," and you could make millions per year licensing your name for multiple private label products - and you sit back and collect royalty checks? I know that if I had a deal like this (clearly, with the bull logo and script and mentioning Ferrucio, he has trademark clearance from the company), I wouldn't flinch for a second.

 

What is up with that place. I saw a news show a couple of months ago about the island shaped like a palm tree. Every house was empty and looked like a typical cookie cutter U.S. McMansion nieghborhood. Not my idea of what I want, are the super wealthy really buying property and using it.

pfftt... atleast in the US you have to be approved for a mortgage/ have the money before you can close the purchase on a home...

I remember my first night-drive down by the Marina. Expected to see bright lights from the 100's of condo's in the area. All I saw was darkness.

I don't think this building will sell based solely on the name "Lamborghini". Too many other developments potentially offering a lot more ROI for the foreign investors.

 

First Atlantis, now this, whats next? They are going to build a world within that country.... Oh wait they already have one

I was going to say that Lamborghini Tower doesn't beat Ferrari La-la Land in absurdness, but it does.
