Thank you all for posting, particularly Count Volpi. As a long time fan this has really brought the classic years of Ferrari to life.

    Hi,
To end the model of Ferrari 250 GTO LM62 N°58 of Scudéria Serenissima,
I shall need a photo of the back of the car, to be able to position of N°
and the sticker of the team!!!

This car s/n 3445GT was piloted by Nino Vaccarella and Giorgio Scarlatti,
she abandoned in 15 hours on problems of engine in Le Mans 1962.

    Thank you for your searches.

    Dear All,

last weekend I had the chance to drive the Breadvan in Mugello. It was amazing. I won the 2 hours Gentle Man Drivers race together with Claudia Huertgen with a lead of 70 sec. over Gary Pearson in an Jaguar E-Type. If you would like to watch the first two laps of the race just have a look here:

I hope you do like it ! All the very best,

    Max Werner

Fabulous pictures! I like the one with master coachbuilder Medardo Fantuzzi in his workshop. Thank you for posting.

Does anyone know if the white Drogo Stradale still exists?
(In the background of the pic also another rarity is to discover: Meade' Thomassima II!)

    You're welcome! ;)

Did you get more informations about the rebuilt Fantuzzi 308? (yellow advert)?
(still searching for Drogo Serenissima 3000 Stradale infos, too...)

September issue of Germany's oldtimer mag "OLDTIMER MARKT" has been published recently.
Front page article is about the story of Serenissima. Obviousely the editor was in contact with Count Volpi in person.

I am also incredibly curious about the Serenissima 3000 Stradale survived and if so where and with whom?? I have only seen 2 pictures of it ever. Taken in the same place as the pic in this thread.. Did it appear on the 1970 Geneva show at all.. I havnt got the mags from that year.. I guess il Conte Volpi still has it ? as he has a few others still I gather from this thread... Any one have any other pictures??

Two more scans from the article. For me the by far most interisting is the black GT Strada which later became the Agena.
I've always believed that it was styled by Pietro Drogo, but it seemingly was designed by Count Volpi himself.
Count Volpi still veils the mystery on the missing cars. He'd always liked to play hide and seek...

Nik I wish you all the luck in tis, perhaps one of the most mysterious cars to come out Italy in that era: isn't mystery enticing?!:)

Yes, very enticing.... :) I believe that there are still some lost cars in any garages or shacks.
A friend of mine has found an old racecar in Puerto Rico, which we´ve identified as last project car of Scuderia Filipinetti (Fiat X1/9). And it´s funny, this car was built in same workshop as cars of Scuderia Serenissima.

Here is one more picture from any test drive. I believe in the car is Alf Francis, but I´m not sure.

Could be Alf; looks like his body type anyway. Once I was in Modena with my pal Chuck Queener, and we picked up Pete and Lella Coltrin and Alf and his "Moglie Italiana" in a tiny Fiat. Six of us tumbling out at the restaurant must have looked like the old clown-car trick!
