Porsche is starting up their Panamera web site ...

    http://www.porsche.com/microsite/panamera/usa.aspx

You have to register to get the follow-up info. Stuff on the site right now is still veiled and somewhat fluffy. (At least I couldn't find anything substantial).

It's almost as appealing as a Cayenne.

    Not good.

The Cayenne was the best selling Porsche the last couple years.

That's all that matters to the current Porsche management-make as much money as possible; hence the Panamera. Too bad their timing (the current economic situation), like the styling of the car, sucks....

I understand that the job of any company is to make money, but to claim that they make more money per car sold then any other manufacturer just irks me...but you'll have to pry my air-cooled 911 from my cold, dead hands....
