    Gooding & Co sold a 1985 400i 5-speed for $55,000 in August.
There are only 36 here in the states so if you subtract mine there are 35. Does anyone happen to know which one they sold?

nice!!! how about the 1981 400..#35097..In 2007 it was brought to the Gooding & Company auction held in Pebble Beach, CA where it was estimated to sell for $30,000 - $40,000 and offered without reserve. The lot surpassed those estimates, settling at $52,800 including buyer's premium....hey i guess my haggerty insurance guy knew something to give me a 50k insured value!!! this is a quote from christies auction house...."With the 1983 Ferrari 400i selling for Euro 28,200 (estimate Euro 12,000 - 18,000) is it now time to say the market has finally realised the worth of these elegant GT cars?...THE WORD IS OUT GUYS!! time to shine your babies up!! lol
