308/328 poster??

as soon is i bought my 328 in April i started looking for some large format poster of this mean machine.
Until now i have not had any succes in fonding a 328 or 308 poster of reasonable size.

Can anyone help me out with where to find one?

 

How large is "large format"?

I've had success on ebay. See Mondial piece below -- and take a look at the wall switch for scale.


And of course, there's the iconical "Man Was Meant To Fly" -- if you ever find one of those, jump on it.

That "Man Was Meant To Fly" poster is very cool, never saw it before. Where did you find it? When was it produced?

 

From what I heard, it was produced by Ferrari of Dallas (or maybe Classic Ferrari) back in the mid to late 80s.

 

Couple years ago, I bought a new 328 poster that was printed by Ferrari, it's still in the tube in my office.

 

Find me a good hi-res image, and I can print one in any size that you like, in 720x720 resolution.

(Provided that one dimension does not exceed 63 inches.)

Probably the best 328 poster I've seen.

 

Does anyone remember the old poster with the Ferrari, bottle of wine and a nude woman? Was it a 308 or 328? Or instead of the wine bottle maybe a violin? Anyway, it obviously goes way back lol

jon, I see that is a black 328 in that poster. Do you ever get frustrated that most are red in the posters?

so, we've got to figure out how to gey the fighter plane/328 "meant to fly" poster remade. I am sure several would purchase. Also the nude woman, wine and 328 poster. How do we contact those responsible/owners of copyright?

Yep - I'd buy the made to fly poster in a heartbeat. I've searched all over the web and can't find a single 328 poster I'd waste the money on. There are better pics scattered around on this site than any of the other posters I've seen! Seems like someone good at Photoshop could essentially duplicate that with some 328/fighter pics that are probably already available on the net.

 

Actually it might even be black metallic. Steve uses the same or a similar illustration in the Forza market guide articles.

Yes, its hard to find posters with black 328s, but I've noticed they're very popular in films/videos.

 

Where did you get the 308, girl and bottle of wine poster? I did not see it on the link.

 

Old eBay link, IIRC. I don't have a source for the poster. I remember they used to sell them in the back of R&T in the '80s. Photographer was Rick someone-or-other... ?

You bet it would. I took photos with a 5 MP Canon while in Europe, and printed two of them in 4'x8' sizes for my living room walls... They turned out AWESOME. One was over the river of the Eiffel tower, and the other was of the bridges in Florence.

 

just as an impression:

i would love to have this one (my actual car!) in let say 4 x 8 ft
i have an 3,9MB size of it is 3888 x 2492 pixels
will this do the trick? Surely i would like to add some text on it but anyway, how can you help me with this?
